This is one example of what our customers have to say:
George,
I can not thank you enough for your help and encouragement in getting my business started. I was just looking for good inspection report software and as you know there are a lot of them out there. I gave almost all of them a test run. Nothing seemed to fit what I thought I needed. I have built homes from the ground up and done complete renovations. I know where to look for problems and how to explain things to clients. So, I was convinced that I knew what my report should look like. Then I called you about your software. I explained what I wanted and you listened patiently. Then you shared your experience, knowledge and wisdom about the inspection industry. You showed me the flaws in my thinking and I could not be happier. You set me up with one of your packages and walked me through it with a remote session. You answered your phone or called back quickly every time I needed help. You were 100% correct, the report is not about what I want, it's about what my clients want. The sample report I put together with your software is the key component in my marketing. Every time I talk with you I am inspired. I look forward to talking with you again soon.
Sincerly,

"Just Because you Can Fry an Egg Doesn't Mean You Can Run a Restaurant"
A few words from our founder:
Thank you for considering BestInspectors.Net for your Home Inspection business start-up needs. Your success is My Busienss!
BestInspectors.Net is not my first business venture. I've owned several businesses in my more than 45 year career. In the 1980s, long before getting into the home inspection business, I had an electrical contracting company. Like many new businesses owners, I really struggled. I decided to get out of the business after four years because I realized that I didn't have the skills and knowledge to run a successful business. I was a good electrician but that wasn't enough. I had to be a good business person too!
I had the good fortune of being offered a job by Champion Spark Plug Company. While at Champion, I had several excellent mentors, both in the company and outside the company. One of my mentors suggested that I go back and continue my education. I did. I realized that a formal education is valuable but nothing compares to having successful people as mentors. I wouldn't be where I am to day if I had only one or the other. It was the combination of a good education and great mentors that gave me the knowledge, business skills, and the confidence to accomplish all the things I have accomplished over the past 30-something years.
My professor in one of the first business courses I took (a marketing course) had a favorite saying, "
Just because you can fry an egg doesn't mean you can run a restaurant". That is so true.
Running a business is a learned set of skills. It isn't something that just happens. Most small businesses that fail do not fail because the owner is not technically competent. They fail because they do not understand the business side of the business. With the combination of BestInspectors.Net and InterNACHI, you will get both!
I will personally coach you. I'll be right there when you need me most. Most home inspection schools put you through a course that focuses only on the technical aspects of home inspection. Once you finish the course, you are on your own. Not so with InterNACHI and BestInspectors.Net. The training course is just the beginning. Once you have your certification and are out doing real inspections, that's when the real fun starts.
When you are out in the real world is when you most need someone who has your back and can guide you as you continue to learn the business. That's where I come in. I'll be there to go over reports with you, to help you learn how to handle situations as they arise with customers and real estate agents, and all the other things that you never though of while completing your studies. I'll always be only a phone call away. When I am mentoring you, failure is not an option. If you fail, I fail. I am NOT in the habit of failing!
Oh, one more thing. I am often asked if I am also a home inspector. Yes! I am. I still do both home and commercial inspections. Most of my friends are retired or thinking of retiring. I have no desire to retire. I'll continue to inspections as long as I am able. After 45 years in the workplace, I am still learning. I'll continue to share what I have learned for as long as there are new inspectors entering the business who want to learn from me just as I learned from my mentors.
