Rare FOSTORIA - Henry Ford Museum Collection - Blue Frosted Dolphin Compote

Description

This stunning frosted blue dolphin compote is a very hard color to find. In the 1960’s the Henry Ford Museum commissioned the Fostoria Glass Company to produce some pieces that were patterned after some vintage glass that they had in the museum. As you can see in photo #8, the initials HFM (Henry Ford Museum) are stamped onto the bottom of the compote.
This compote was one of the pieces that were selected to be made by Fostoria and as you can see, the attention to detail is just beautiful. This was made in a few colors, clear, olive green and blue which is the most popular color. They also made some with a mix of the colors so you may find some with a blue dolphin and clear compote or a clear dolphin with a green compote.
This will ship double box and wrapped in a ton of bubble wrap to protect it. It will ship USPS Priority Mail and if you’d like to add additional insurance on it, please select that at checkout.

After losing my job 3 weeks before I was about to move I thought I'd wait till I got moved and settled in to find a new one. Well, who knew that a pandemic was about to hit us all and finding a new job became nearly impossible so I

I'm a single woman so I've only had myself to rely on and once I realized I could maybe make a living doing this, I started to visit thrift stores, garage and estate sales to help rescue items that not only need a new home but also help you find what you're looking for.
I make sure to take detailed photos and will tell of any problems in the description. All of my items come from a smoke free home and I spend extra time during the packaging to make sure it arrives safe and sound to you. I'd be lying to you if I told you that my items come from a pet free home but I have 3 small dogs that are hypoallergenic so I hope that isn't a problem and they never are near any of the items I'm selling. They just help keep me company and I adore them!
