    Description

Very cool large glass pedestal fruit bowl or compote depicting Rebecca at the Well. Fostoria was commissioned by the Henry Ford Museum during the 1960s to remake early American glass treasures using modern molds. It is marked HFM (see last pic). It is large scale and heavy at 13" tall and 10" wide and the color was called olive green mist. It is in great vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Would make a great centerpiece for any table.
Flat rate shipping fee listed is for continental US only and does not apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or international.
This listing is for a set of Fostoria Glass #2449 "Hermitage" Salt and Pepper Shakers in Azure Blue with the original glass domed tops. The Shakers are in very good condition....the glass is clean and clear and the only post-manufacturing issues I see is a small "impact" chip to the side of the base on one shaker (this can be seen in the last picture) and possibly a small chip to the side of the ground opening of one Shaker (it was typical for small ground openings to have the teensy nicks as seen when manufactured). The glass domed tops screw on easily and securely....there is a crack in each of the glass tops, most likely from someone screwing them on too tightly in the past (see picture).
These are a true shade of Azure.
