Description

Authentic 1940s fostoria Pitcher Set. Condition is "New". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Rare Antique! Large Compote in Frisco Pattern (1229) by Fostoria Glass Co (Early American Pattern Glass [EAPG], ca 1909). This is a very rare find. In fact, this particular bowl will be entered into the EAPG database, as the first compote in this pattern.
Size: 7.5" x 7"
Condition is "Used" (please see last two pics):
1. No lid (not sure there ever was one)
2. Overall nice shape, especially for age
3. Top row of "teardrops" has some light scratches
4. No chips, cracks or stains
5. In some light, the compote appears to be sun purpled, but it's very subtle and am not sure the elegant glass wasn't picking up the colors in the environment
Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Shipping is NOT included in the price shown and the buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.
Items for sale in the Red Diamond ReDo shop are not new—they are vintage or antique. As a result, please expect some signs of age and character. We always do our best to list imperfections, but in most cases, we do not even sell items with major imperfections online. We do not, however, represent that any item we sell is new or in perfect condition.
