Up for auction is a STUNNING PAIR OF POSSIBLY -FOSTORIA-  ACANTHUS PATTERN-CORNOCOPIA/ VASE/
BOOKENDS. They are each 6"tall, 7 1/2" wide and3 3/4" deep. Each crystal bookend is very heavy.

The condition is excellent for both of these Elegant bookends- no chips, cracks, or wear.
These beautiful bookend vases are a wonderful example of fine, historic, American glass making at it's best.
Sorry it was a bad photo day and I had difficulty getting pictures that show the true beauty of these bookend vases.

This Fostoria line was one of their late introductions, probably in the 1970's. It is a fairly heavy glass. The shell motif in the center of the plate and around the rim is frosted.  Despite its heft, it has a very elegant look.
The plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or noticeable wear.
The plate is approximately 10" wide.

I pack everything with great care.  I use recycled material when I can, but usually have to buy bubble wrap and peanuts. Your shipping cost is shown in the auction listing before you bid and is based on the shipping rates from my home to yours including insurance.  All of my items are unique. I weigh each item and then add one or two pounds for the estimated weight of the box and packing material. The estimate is usually within a dollar or two of the actual shipping and insurance amount.  Sometimes the actual charge is more, but you are not charged for the extra amount.  I refund shipping if it is over by more than 2-3 dollars depending on the package. Let me know if you think the shipping is too high before you bid and I will double check the weight of the item.
