    Antique CAMBRIDGE
    Dianthus Mandolin Lady Flower Frog
    Figurine.
    Circa - 1920’s these frogs were used to hold flowers upright in a table centerpiece bowl with water. The Mandolin Lady frogs are somewhat hard-to-find and were not reproduced.
    The Mandolin Lady frog is 9-1/4” (H), 3-7/8” (W) at the base and rests on a 1-1/2” thick glass base with 10 holes encircling the base that are used to hold the flowers and allow water to get to the stems.
    It weighs 1 ¾ lbs.
    Great vintage condition- no chips or cracks and only the normal mold marks due to the size and complexity of molding this intricate piece of glass It has bubbles and a little roughness at the mold separation line around the bottom.
