    Description

This Pair of Blue Roman I Crucifix Candle Stick Holders are marked Ripley & Co on one side of the base and Pat Pending on the other side. Ripley & Co were the original producers of these candle stick holders in the late 1800s and they were later produced by Duncan Miller as far back as the 1870s. They were made in crystal, opal, and blue with opal and blue being hard to find, especially as a pair. This pair is in good used condition, but they both have a small chip on the base of their foot. One of the chips is right on the edge of the base and the other is underneath the base and just barely coming over the bottom edge of the base. I show both of these chips in my last four photos. Because of the chips small size and their location they do not detract from the look of these candle stick holders at all. These candle stick holders are just a little over 10 1/2" tall and the bases are 5 1/2" in diameter. After I purchased this pair I was told that these came from a church where they were used for many years and that they were blessed by a priest, which may or may not be true. My photos show the actual candle stick holders that you will receive. For some reason my camera makes them look like they are standing at an angle when they actually stand straight up and down like they are supposed to.
You are viewing a striking Green Transparent Glass Hobnail Footed Vase with cupped in crimped top. Some would call this a Footed Rose Bowl, Krause's "Encyclopedia of Duncan Glass" list this as a "Violet Vase". Duncan & Miller Glass was an Pennsylvanian glass house that operated from 1983-1955. The hobnails on this item have a pointed end which is similar feel to Fenton hobnails. This vase has a unique hobnail stem and is in excellent used condition with no chips, breaks, nicks or cracks found. Vase measures approximately 7.5" high and 4.5" across widest part of body. This vase is a solid piece of glass weighing 2 pounds
and is a heavy package so be sure to check all shipping options and select the one that works best for you.
Because most items I list are used be sure to view all photos as they are part of
    description and condition.
Reasonable offers are always welcome and will be considered.

I research all items I sell and do my best to list correct description and information. I am a avid collector of all types of glass but not an expert, so if I missed something and you would like additional information please contact me before you bid or buy.  The items I sell are acquired from various local sources and I use recycled packing materials so I can not guarantee that either come from smoke free or pet free environments, please keep this in mind before you purchase.
GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM For international buyers eBay automatically calculates the international shipping cost, duties, taxes and estimated delivery dates upfront, and adds them to the listing which the international buyer sees. The seller doesn’t provide any of that information.
Buyers see estimated shipping and import charges on the listing, which are then confirmed at checkout. These charges are paid by the buyer to cover shipping, handling, customs duties, taxes, brokerage and all other international fees.
Costs can be higher for international shipping, and rates may or may not include pickup and door-to-door delivery with customs clearance. Customs regulations vary by country and not all carriers ship to all locations. International buyers are responsible for paying these additional fees
